Strengthening Trade Facilitation Through Executive-Level BSW Training

An Executive-Level Training (ELT) for officials from Customs, VAT and Certificate, License and Permit Issuing Agencies (CLPIAs) was successfully held on 02 August 2026 at Grand Sylhet Hotel & Resort, Airport Road, Sylhet. The day-long session was attended by 20 participants. The session included technical presentations, live demonstrations of the BSW Portal, and interactive discussions on key BSW modules and functionalities. Particular emphasis was placed on BSW compliance requirements, relevant regulatory and policy guidelines, and system features that may have implications for future NBR and Customs policy development. Participants also discussed the BSW’s reporting and analytical capabilities and their relevance to policy formulation, monitoring, and decision-making.
