Strengthening Smart Customs Operations through ARMS Training

The 6th ARMS training program on the Automated Risk Management System (ARMS) was successfully held from 06–09 April 2026, with 30 participants at IBCS-PRIMAX Software (Bangladesh) Ltd, Kazi Nazrul Islam Road, Dhaka 1207. The program focused on building participants’ capacity in key areas of risk management, including identifying, evaluating, and addressing potential risks in customs processes using BSW ARMS System. It highlighted effective approaches to facilitate faster clearance of low-risk consignments while ensuring strict oversight of high-risk shipments. The training covered key areas such as risk register, risk criteria setting, risk rule creation, and risk profiling. Through a practical and interactive approach, participants gained hands-on experience in applying the ARMS module effectively. Overall, the program enhanced participants’ capacity to implement risk-based customs processes with greater accuracy and confidence.
