A New Horizon in Enhancing Efficiency and Effectiveness of Customs Operations through ARMS Training in Chattogram

A comprehensive role-based training program on the Automated Risk Management System (ARMS) was successfully conducted for Customs officials from 16–19 February 2026 at the BCC in Chattogram. The initiative brought together 387 participants across 10 batches, aiming to strengthen their capacity in modern customs risk management practices. The training emphasized key aspects such as risk identification, assessment, and mitigation, enabling participants to better manage low-risk consignments efficiently while maintaining strict control over high-risk goods. The sessions were conducted through the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) platform of the BSW portal, providing an engaging and interactive environment that enabled officials to develop practical skills for effectively applying the ARMS module in customs operations.
